The SNCF’s talent in creating a beautiful advertising campaign to encourage travel in France (and the outer islands) is prominent in the following 8 posters from the 1950s. No longer was there interest in displaying the train as part of the advertisement. Now, a beautiful image of the destination was what appealed most to the traveler.
