Frank Lloyd Wright enjoyed great success in his professional life however his personal life was quite tumultuous. After beginning an affair with a client, he divorced his wife of twenty years whom he shared six children. They remained lovers until 1914 when she was killed by an ax wielding servant in a bizarre massacre at their Wisconsin home.
